Filip Pizlo's Homepage
I'm the co-founder and president of Fiji Systems Inc. and a computer science PhD student at the S3 Lab at Purdue University. Jan Vitek and Antony Hosking are my advisors. I also work for the Physics Department, on a project called VERITAS. My research interests include memory management (specifically, garbage collection), real-time systems, concurrency, programming languages and compilers, and gamma-ray astrophysics. I also take a lot of pictures. Most of my work these days involves various Java virtual machines, including Jikes RVM, Ovm, and Fiji VM. I'm on the core team of all three.
